Planning for the 12th annual U.S. Sport Aviation Expo continues at a steadily increasing pace, and the Expo is delighted to announce that AOPA Ambassador Jamie Beckett will present two Rusty Pilot Seminars during next year’s Expo, January 20-23, 2016.
Returning to the sky is not as difficult as most rusty pilots think. Come to the Expo and participate in a FREE Rusty Pilots program, and AOPA will help you understand what’s changed in aviation since you’ve last took the controls. It is easier to get back into the air than most people think! No FAA checkride or test is required, and you may not need a medical, depending on the category of aircraft you fly.
The Sebring Expo will host two Rusty Pilot Seminars. Pre-registration is greatly appreciated, but walk-ins will be welcomed on a first-come, first-served basis until the classroom is full.
Session1 will be held: Thursday, January 21 from 9:30 a.m. to 12:30 p.m. Sign up at:
Session 2 will be held Saturday, January 23 from 9:30 a.m. to 12:30 p.m. Sign up at:
The Expo also will host another panel of industry experts talking about current GA issues, with Uncontrolled Air Space personality Jack Hodgson again moderating the discussion. That panel will take place on Thursday, January 24, at 1:30 p.m. in the Aviators Hot Line Show Center tent.
