In a quite exceptional setting, between Les Bauges and La Chartreuse mountains and the Epine Mountain Range and Le Bourget Lake, and just 30 minutes flight from Mont Blanc! Chambéry Airport is the ideal location for flying.

You can fly or learn how to fly various aircraft types: tourist planes, light aircrafts or parachuting.

Savoy Flying Club

Savoy Flying Club, an historical part of the airport, was founded in 1925 and welcomes flying enthusiasts. Its flying school and qualified instructors offer various classes and training programmes: first flights, aeronautic initiation licence, Basic licence, Private Pilot Liance (PPL), IFR discovery and IR National training, mountain flying, night flying, holiday flying, Training and accompaniment on night flights, independent flights.

The Club has a club-house and a large hangar which is home to the entire fleet of aircraft which comprises 8 planes and 1 light aircraft with a variety of characteristics.

Savoy Parachuting School – Paraclub

Approved by the Ministry for Youth and Sport and the French Parachuting Federation, the Paraclub will offer you the chance to develop your skills between the lakes and mountains, and to jump over the Mont Blanc and Le Bourget Lake!

The Paraclub offers various discovery packages (tandem jumps, freefall), advanced classes (free-fly, contact jumps).
